Budget Raffle Tickets is owned and operated by Ray and Katrina Smith.
During a successful 17 year career in software development – having completed a Bachelor of Applied Science (Honors) Degree from Charles Sturt University – Ray become involved in a number of non profit groups.
Holding positions of vice president and treasurer, Ray was increasingly involved in organising and running events and functions, as well as supporting several other local non profit groups.
One of the many tasks was coordinating fundraising raffles – which was the catalyst for establishing Budget Raffle Tickets.
After working primarily in aged care, Katrina joined Ray at Budget Raffle Tickets part time after the birth of their youngest child. Part time quickly became to full time as Budget Raffle Tickets grew.
Katrina also has extensive experience in non profits – including time as president and secretary roles in P&C and netball clubs. She’s also proud to be an active member of the Rural Fire Service.
